Hi! I'm a computer scientist and mathematician working as a Post-Doc at the Optimization Research Group of the University of Kaiserslautern. I studied computer science from 2007 to 2012 and made my PhD in mathematics from 2013 to 2016 in the group of Sven O. Krumke.
My research focuses on combinatorial solution algorithms and approximation algorithms for network flow problems and packing problems. I'm in particular interested in the complexity and approximability of novel problems and in developing combinatorial algorithms based on state-of-the-art data structures. In addition to that, I also gained extensive knowledge in the field of Machine Learning and Neural Networks in particular by successfully completing several online courses.
